No Time to Explain Just curious, how long did it take you to make the paid version of this? It's a lot longer and has a lot of new mechanics that clearly took a lot of work, but you also how a pretty unpolished UI and use images for some of the hats.
Just seems kind of weird how you put a lot more work into some parts than others...

About 9 months. It's just me doing design, art, code and animation so no single part of it is especially perfect.
Also I fuckin hated working on the game after a while. I didn't expect it to ever get as big as it did, so I didn't plan for it to be anything impressive from the start. That's why some of the high-priority art, like the first 5 level backgrounds, are spiced up for Steam while a lot of other stuff that doesn't get as much attention is left behind.
